Excellent score by Jerry Goldsmith. This could have been his score to "Superman" if he had scored the movie as planned. That being said the "Superman" score by John Williams is amazing.

He is unusually eloquent for a groundskeeper.

Why supergirl is powerless i don't see any kryptonite anywere?

I thought Helen Slater was a great casting of Supergirl, but unfortunately, there were so many different things that did not go right with this film. Apparently the producers wanted superman in a skirt, but the Director wanted to take on more of a fantasy approach to the film. That was disconnect number one. The part of Ethan was actually supposed to be Superman, but had to be rewritten into the script when Christopher Reeve bailed out of the project. Even the Director said that Christopher Reeves involvement with this film would’ve validated it and made it so much better. Such a sin because I really think that this film could’ve been done well. In hindsight, it was such a blessing to see a CGI creation of both Reeve and Slater in their respective parts in the Flash movie from this past summer. What a wonderful moment of what could’ve been!

Alot of people criticize the story line in this movie and Superman himself not in it but I think the very original storyline had Braniac as the villian instead of Selena and some sort of love triangle between him Superman and Supergirl just because Superman and Supergirl have the same superpowers does not alter the fact thst they are still related to eachother cousins if they had any kind of sex it would still be what we call inbreeding which is generally socially frowned upon. Also what would Lois Lane say about something like that I seriously dought anything good.
